Dr. Kate Fernald is a graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent more than seventeen years as the owner of Seattle Natural Veterinary Center, an integrative veterinary practice in Seattle, Washington.   Throughout her career, she has pursued extensive study in veterinary acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutraceuticals, nutrition, and therapeutic diet planning, while maintaining a strong foundation in conventional diagnostics and treatment.  Her professional experience has centered on integrating these disciplines thoughtfully and practically, with a particular emphasis on nutrition, preventive care, chronic disease management, and individualized treatment planning.
